Comparative Pull-Out Performances of Cephalomedullary Nail with Screw and Helical Blade According to Femur Bone Densities

چکیده

This paper mainly examines the fixation performances of cephalomedullary nail for incidence intertrochanteric (IT) fracture to guide appropriate fixations with respect bone density in terms a biomechanical perspective. It is substantially important which types are applied during operation since it tends induce backout or migration helical blade and screw according weight density. Biomedical polyurethane (PUR) foam blocks simulating human adopted two grades densities simulate normal person an elderly who has osteoporosis. Tensile compression tests conducted analyze tensile-compression anisotropy PUR foams. Pull-out blades evaluated from experimental perspectives, supported by comparison results finite element method analysis. The clamping force higher than blade, about 177% 198% low After physical evaluation critical pull-out we have suggested that stable guaranteed when larger projected force.
